These spicy, licorice-flavored chili sticks should actually have a completely different name. They're so typically North German—rough and robust on the outside, with a powerful presence, yet somehow sweet with a light center. And the idea that the licorice sticks are from Chile is pure fiction. Crazy, right?
INGREDIENTS:
Sugar, glucose syrup, sweetened condensed skimmed milk (milk , sugar), liquorice extract (3%), ammonium chloride (1.9%), flavoring, color: vegetable charcoal.
DIRECTIONS:
Store in a cool dry place.
