BREWERY DESCRIPTION:
Le Carnegie Porter is a Swedish beer classic. It has been brewed since 1836. It's a black porter with very rich flavors including strong roasted tones of chocolate character and lots of hop bitterness which both are balanced and softened by a degree of sweetness. There is a complex blend of aromas combined with a heavy but smooth body. In 1993, the yeast was changed to a bottom-fermenting strain.
Carnegie Porter is also known as a vintage beer, it will improve by storage for 10 years and more. After a year or two the taste will become very smooth and balanced. But above all the aroma will become even more rich and complex and in some respects similar to an old Madeira wine. A 10 year old Carnegie Porter is a taste sensation which is at the same time extremely rich and extremely light.

The delivery driver cannot deliver to a person that is intoxicated, and no signature release, driver release, or indirect delivery allowed. You can opt to have your order shipped to a business, work, or even to a FedEx Station to be held for pickup. Please keep in mind that if an order is returned to us as undelivered because of non-signature, we will have to get payment to re-ship. Please see our current list of states we ship to. Our web cart will also notify you during checkout if you try to order beer or wine for delivery to a state that does not allow it by only showing "In Store pickup".
