WINERY DESCRIPTION:
This Tokaji Late Harvest is made from 100% Furmint. Furmint is one of the traditional varietals used to make Tokaj white wines and Aszù when it is blended with Yellow Muscat and Hárslevelu. The name Furmint is taken from the French word "froment" for the wheat-gold color of the wine it produces.
Hand picked using 25 kg lug boxes, the fruits are selected in the vineyard first and only perfectly ripe fruits are used, a second selection is done in the cellar. The bunches are then pressed using a pneumatic press, the must is then settled. After settling the must is fermented in stainless steel tanks and aged for six months in the tank and then further in the bottle.
SUGGESTED PAIRINGS:
This is an elegant and lighter style of Tokaji Late Harvest, will be fairly easy to pair with cheeses, foie gras, prawn served with a honey sauce or chocolate desserts.

You must be 21 to purchase any product that contains alcohol, including beer, wine, and some chocolates. Delivery must accepted by an adult age 21+. All beer or wine shipments are sent via Federal Express with an adult signature sticker required on the box. Packages will not be left without signature at any residence or business. There is an additional fee of $6.00 per shipment to cover the Adult Signature Service included in your shipping quote. This fee is imposed by FedEx.
Adult Shipping for any items containing alcohol including beer, wine, cider, and liquor-filled chocolates, requires an Adult Signature on delivery. The delivery driver cannot deliver to a person that is intoxicated, and no signature release, driver release, or indirect delivery allowed. You can opt to have your order shipped to a business, work, or even to a FedEx Station to be held for pickup. Please keep in mind that if an order is returned to us as undelivered because of non-signature, we will have to get payment to re-ship. Please see our current list of states we ship to. Our web cart will also notify you during checkout if you try to order beer or wine for delivery to a state that does not allow it by only showing "In Store pickup".
