Wild-caught Atlantic Cod is harvested and hand-packed off the coast of Galicia northern Spain, known for its exceptional seafood. Traditional harvesting methods are used to respect the biological cycles of the species, as well as avoiding harm to other sea creatures. Striving to have sustainable seafood, with minimal environmental impact is the main goal to have ocean-friendly options to feed families. This tender, flaky cod has a clean, delicate flavor. Prepared from traditional salt-cured fillets, our cod is soaked and then gently poached in Spanish olive oil. It is ready to eat from the tin, as a complement to salads, pastas, or in traditional salt cod dishes like fritters and brandade. 100% natural artisan product!
