WEISSELLA ICED LEBKUCHEN
Weissella Iced Lebkuchen, which are a type of soft, glazed German gingerbread cookie. The product is a traditional Christmas specialty baked by the German company Weiss, based in Ulm, Bavaria.
Lebkuchen are distinct from standard crisp gingerbread cookies; they are a dense, cake-like confection, often nutty and rich in spices. The "iced" version refers to the sugar glaze topping!
INGREDIENTS:
Sugar, wheat flour, nuts and kernels (hazelnuts, walnuts, almonds, cashew kernels), glucose fructose syrup, apricot pits, orange peel, glycerol, contains 2% or less of: potato starch, spices, apricot puree, sorbitol, liquid eggs, apple extract, wheat semolina, wheat syrup, liquid egg whites, figs, sodium bicarbonate, invert sugar, dextrose, gum arabic, pure butterfat, salt, flavor, peas protein, pectins, citric acid, potassium citrate, rice flour, milk. Contains egg, tree nuts (hazelnuts, walnuts, almonds, cashew kernels), milk and wheat. May contain peanuts, soy, sesame and other tree nuts (coconut, pistachios).
