Because we do not pay overhead to store marine products, we are able to offer them at cost plus 10%, plus any applicable shipping and tax.

The majority of marine products we sell are by special order. Because of the huge variety of products available, we do not have a catalog. We use many suppliers to find the best cost and availability to suit our clients' needs and items are usually received in our store within two to five days.

Also please note that we cannot typically save you any money on electronics, inflatables, or outboard motors since these categories typically have only about a 10% profit margin at the retail level industry-wide. What we recommend for dealing with these areas is to spend your valuable time making sure you are getting exactly the item that fits your needs and is compatible with any already owned equipment. You may find decent pricing from some large-scale discounters, but be aware that they are often selling products that may not be current models.

For inflatables, the best way to save money is to get a package deal or have a reputable dealer "throw in" the accessories like fuel tanks, tillers, etc. These items are where most of the profit margin is. Also, it is fairly common to get Boat Show prices a bit lower than retail, especially towards the end of the show when vendors either have to ship product back or make a little money off them.

We carry in stock a variety of boater supplies for those items lost or forgotten.

How to place an order or get a quote:

1. Determine exact make & model number of the item desired or use a West Marine number or a Fisheries Supply number for cross reference. These numbers are in BOLD.

2. Email us or use our marine order form and include quantity, make & model number or other reference number, color, size, and any other important specs. Please complete the form if you are placing an order and check the "order" box. If you need a quote, please check the "quote" box.

3. We will get right back to you with a quote or order confirmation.

In most cases, because we sell at such low margins, we do not accept returns on marine items. If there is a significant amount of time between a purchase and an attempted return, and the supplier will accept the return, there will usually be a re-stocking fee of 10-20% imposed by the supplier.

Key Benefits
  • Very low prices.
  • Purchase what you need, not what a store has in stock.
  • Honesty in pricing: No gouging!

TESTIMONIALS

I have been a customer of Marina Market for approximately one year and I am very satisfied with their service and pleasant cooperative spirit. If it's difficult to locate, Jonathan Rowe has gone the "extra mile" to be helpful and get me the part I need. I have saved hundreds of dollars on every order. I plan to use them extensively in the future.

My friend got such a good deal on an outboard motor that I got one too! I just got a tank tender, a horizontal propane tank and a set of SS trim tabs. As a retiree I love the savings! They find just what I want and I save a bundle. Thank you Marina Market!

I am restoring a boat and I have been able to do it faster because I have saved so much money on materials. For example on teak railings and handles I got over $200 in product for $100!!
--T. S., Poulsbo

I paid $85 a gallon for bottom paint that normally goes for almost $200 a gallon. I cant believe the savings Ive had, now I can cruise more!
--G. W., Tacoma

I like the great prices, sure, but what I really find very unique and beneficial is the personalized, never say die service I get from Jonathan and Andrea. For example, last year I was taking an important customer and his wife for a two week cruise. I had just sold my largest boat and I loaned by dinghy to the guy who bought it. Just as we were ready to go, the guy brought back my dinghy with a broken motor. Help! Jonathan found a Yamaha four horsepower four-stroke in Seattle. Andrea went and got it. I had it the next day and didn't have to disappoint my important customer. Service like that at a great price, I can't get enough.
--Mike Hall, Poulsbo

We totally rebuilt -- with the exception of the hull and drive train -- a 30-foot steel fishing boat, converting it into a livable, long-distance cruising trawler, using equipment and products purchased exclusively through Jonathan and Andrea at Marina Market in Poulsbo -- even though we live and keep the boat in North Carolina! Marina Market's pricing saved us more than $25,000 on our boat project, compared to buying the same products at the prices listed in the major chandlery catalogs. That savings translated into our being able to afford a far better boat than we'd have had otherwise. This purchase included a diesel generator, a watermaker, an Avon RIB, an HVAC system, scanning sonar and other "big ticket" items, right down to the fenders, lines, cleats, chocks and sundry other items that go into making a cruising powerboat. Jonathan and Andrea really went all out for us in coordinating this complex order and getting it shipped to our builder right on schedule.
