pay
overhead
to
store
marine
products,
we
are
able
to
offer
them
at
cost
plus
10%,
plus
any
applicable
shipping
and
tax.      
The majority of marine products we sell are by special order. Because of the huge variety of products available, we do not have a catalog. We use many suppliers to find the best cost and availability to suit our clients' needs and items are usually received in our store within two to five days. Also please note that we cannot typically save you any money on electronics, inflatables, or outboard motors since these categories typically have only about a 10% profit margin at the retail level industry-wide. What we recommend for dealing with these areas is to spend your valuable time making sure you are getting exactly the item that fits your needs and is compatible with any already owned equipment. You may find decent pricing from some large-scale discounters, but be aware that they are often selling products that may not be current models. For inflatables, the best way to save money is to get a package deal or have a reputable dealer "throw in" the accessories like fuel tanks, tillers, etc. These items are where most of the profit margin is. Also, it is fairly common to get Boat Show prices a bit lower than retail, especially towards the end of the show when vendors either have to ship product back or make a little money off them. We carry in stock a variety of boater supplies for those items lost or forgotten. How to place an order or get a quote: 1. Determine exact make & model number of the item desired or use a West Marine number or a Fisheries Supply number for cross reference. These numbers are in BOLD. 2. Email us or use our marine order form and include quantity, make & model number or other reference number, color, size, and any other important specs. Please complete the form if you are placing an order and check the "order" box. If you need a quote, please check the "quote" box. 3. We will get right back to you with a quote or order confirmation. In most cases, because we sell at such low margins, we do not accept returns on marine items. If there is a significant amount of time between a purchase and an attempted return, and the supplier will accept the return, there will usually be a re-stocking fee of 10-20% imposed by the supplier.
