Atlanta Oliebollen Mix 200g. This package contains a complete mix for donuts. All you need is 500ml lukewarm water. If you wish to add 250 grams soaked currants or raisins, it tastes extra good. To prepare: put the mix a bowl and add the water. Beat until a smooth batter. Mix the currants or raisins into the batter. Cover the batter with a damp cloth and leave in a warm place about 30 minutes, to raise. Heat your oil to 375F In a deep frying pan or fryer. Use two spoons to scoop the batter into balls. Fry balls in the hot oil, 4 minutes until golden, dip them under to cook evenly. Drain the olliebollen on kitchen paper or a colander. Keep warm in a low oven if not serving immediately.
